Greetings, brethren. Our April stated meeting was well attended with some brethren who haven't visited for a while. We had a brother complete his degree work at the one day class in Cincinnati on March 26. We have two more who are interested in completing their degree work at the one day class scheduled for April 30 at Russellville lodge. The lodge recently formed a visitation committee to visit our shut-ins and widows to let them know that the lodge is thinking of them and can provide help if necessary. The Master set April 28 at 7:00 PM to do a Fellowcraft degree so we can get moving on our degree requirements for this year. We may also be the recipients of a couple of 4 seat sections from Riverfront stadium that we can use to raise funds for our relief fund. More on that later. I hope to see you at the May stated meeting on the twenty first.

December, 2021
What a year, right? It has been a while since this blog was updated and that is going to be corrected now. The lodge had its annual election of officers and they were installed on December 17. See at right for the list. Covid has put a damper on lodge activities but, if all goes well, things will pick up. We just voted on a new petition and we will confer an Entered Apprentice degree at our January stated meeting. Also, John McCollum received his 80-year service award on November 16. The Grand Master made the presentation.

The summer is a slow time at lodge usually. We do have one candidate receiving his degrees. Also, you will be receiving your dues notices shortly. Those of you who have them will be receiving them through your email addresses. Those who don't will receive them through the mail. Both will be sent out by Grand Lodge as a way to help the lodges with dues collection. There will also be an online method of paying your dues. Rest assured that the lodge receives all money paid by you. Donations will be given as you direct. So, have a good summer and since we don't go dark come to lodge if you can.
Inspection
Our inspection is now in the books and the pandemic seems to be letting up some, so now it is time to get to work on the rest of the year. This month we will be voting on a new petition so there should be degree work to do soon. So, if you feel well and comfortable enough, come to the lodge at 7 PM on March 20.
Inspection announcement - updated 1/30/2021
Edenton Lodge's inspection has been rescheduled for March 8 at 7:00 PM. The lodge is having issues in getting enough members to help with the Master Mason degree. Due to the pandemic and the uncertainty around what is safe and when it will be safe to associate with others again, this is understandable. If you can help please rest assured the lodge is taking precautions to keep it's members safe. Still, if you don't feel well and/or don't feel safe coming to lodge, please stay home.
January 2021
We were able to have a stated meeting January 16. Time will tell whether we will have a February meeting. Please note that meetings are for members only for the foreseeable future. We had one brother return his Master Mason exam in a fine manner and we installed the officers for this year. The list of officers is on the right side of this page. We discussed our upcoming inspection on January 29 at 7:00 PM. Since we will be doing the Master Mason degree we will need a few more parts filled. Any help will be appreciated. See Special Meetings for practice dates and times. If you have not done it yet please register on the Grand Lodge's database, Grandview. The instructions are listed in the previous post. You can update your information and see correspondence from Grand Lodge. We were given a rundown on Sixth District events scheduled for the coming year, subject to Covid restrictions, of course, which included a family picnic, golf outing, and other activities. I will list them in future posts when the new officers are elected and installed. The Lodge Education Officer presented a program on Benjamin Franklin, an American founding father and active Freemason, whose birthday is January 17. Pray for your lodge brethren and our country.
